The other was a video titled Shucking Oysters with Authentic Florida. The video is posted on YouTube. Another video, Florida’s ECHO Farms, received a third place award. It describes a unique farm operation based in Ft. Myers that trains global workers and farmers in sustainable, agricultural practices fulfilling a mission of “feeding the world, one farmer at a time!”
Two additional third place awards recognized Draper in the Magazine Short Feature and Magazine Feature categories. Cedar Key, A Florida Original was published in Edible Orlando and Spring into Summer - Keep Cool in Florida's Refreshing Springs was published in Harbor Style Magazine.
A panel of professionals from the Georgia Outdoor Writers Association judged more than 100 entries for this year’s awards.
